- Philosophy of the Our Festival - We are inviting pickers of all ages to an exciting weekend of bluegrass at its best. We believe that means lots of nice folks coming together to share their music and their stories, seeing old friends and making new ones. A weekend where the music never stops...and we don't mean just on stage! We think bluegrass at its best means celebrating and encouraging the talents of young musicians as well as the old timers. By doing so, we are assuring the future of acoustic roots music in America and our festival seeks to nurture that tradition. It's all about the music folks. The preservation of this body of music; its traditions and values as well as many instruments long forgotten. Join us then, and see what comes of it. You never know, there may be a Bluegrass musician hidden in you some where..... |
